30 years old or not, that's good looking rubber.

    CUCV-II Northern Europe Reconditioning

THAT is one seriously nice looking CUCV.

    Survival 109 build

That is a great idea. Excellent. [thumbzup]

    Just purchased my 2nd MV...M38A1

That is awful; plain awful and horrible.

    Red's deuce/camper project

I get 80 mph, but 90 mph is just plain a scary speed. Things go bad real fast at 90, especially with something like an 18-wheeler hauling 30-40 tons.

    WY/CO Chapter

Maybe I picked up wrong on the message: - Is that what you're saying wcuhillbilly? Is your place a full 1,300 acres?

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

I think the old expression is: - Good Judgement comes from Experience/ And Experience comes from Bad Judgement. It's a tough way to learn, and it's better to let somebody else lead the way for you if possible. But nothing builds wisdom better than slugging through the problem solving. Good...

    R & R work (remove and repair)

I am not familiar with "crocus cloth", is that kind of like the fine-grit emery cloth plumber's use to prep a joint for solder?

    Removing, rebuilding, reinstalling Hydraulic Head

That sure doesn't sound good, but better to find them now (when you're in upgrade mode) than later (when you would have been in disaster mode). :-)

    An American Deuce in Canada

That is a lot of upgrade you got lined up there. It'll be a real beauty when you get caught up with all of that. You go, Brother. [thumbzup]

    WY/CO Chapter

Wcuhillbilly, everything is relative I know and out your way 1,300 acres might be a small piece of land, but out East here I can tell you that is a real spread. Wow, you got yourself a nice hunk of real estate I'd have to say. Do you all work that land, or ranch it or something?

    M47 Dump Project Is Home

I don't know sand-blasting much: - But is "black beauty" a reference to it somehow? Is that maybe the name of the blast medium or something?

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

That tool is simple but ingenious; brilliant. [thumbzup]

Hmmm..do you like low flying aircraft?....then here ya go!

I'm figuring that the foam suppression works like a charm (any fire is completely OUT). but that the chemical composition of the foam likely isn't too good for precision aircraft components. Do you know if these aircraft are readily serviceable after events like this?

309th Aerospace Maintenance And Regeneration Group

That's very special to see them flying in column like that at ground level. I don't know why, but it's very cool. I just never saw rotary wing in flight like that before.

' That's funny how the bud waits a couple of minutes to notify his "co-pilot" of the feline stow-away. It was kind of like he was computing the situation before deciding to engage a possible female escalation of the episode. But that co-pilot had grit (or she obviously wouldn't be sitting in...

The good news is that nothing's likely to burn... The bad news is that nothing is likely to fly anytime soon either. OOPS, is right.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

It's a gift to live in a country ruled by Law, but it sure does get ludicrous sometime and I guess that's the price we pay. Because I am sure not understanding how the gravel company would be liable for someone hurting their back after purchase of the gravel. :cookoo:

A happy day in Ferret land with my MK2/3
