Not that it matters totally, because that IS just a fine looking old rig:
- But are you sure that thing has a military background?
I don't know the historic MV line-up that well I admit, but I don't recall seeing that style cab on anything back to WWII. Do you know that it did service?
Looks like the difference between night-and-day; excellent job:
- In fact, the fan looks like baked-on enamel; is that just rattle-can paint you used!?
So this thing would function like a mobile office, with personnel sitting at a console under the overhead lighting (once stationed in the field), is that the story of this thing?
That's a first rate job; nice looking results. [thumbzup]
And I never knew that HD carried hardwood, guess I just never spent enough time in the lumber section. That's a surprise to me.
You're pulling all the stops, sandcobra, AND playing the heart-strings card; that's good!
You're little buddy looks great in that shot, by the way. You're both lucky to have one another. Here's my prayer for you both.
Are you maybe in marketing!? You know, just wondering.
I like your attitude yellowk20. You sure don't let anything phase you at all. That's great.
Essentially, you're saying that it's totally dead. But, "not a problem"; and that you know you can bring it back to life. Can't wait to see that happen.
Go, Brother. [thumbzup]
Thanks a million, cattlerepairman; I was hoping there might be a video:
- Flip the chassis, now THAT'S thinking outside the box.
- And I didn't notice the little "cow-catcher" flare at the bottom of the radiator (nice detail).
That is one ruggedly righteous creation; VERY cool.
I agree with jbayer, that front end looks good:
- What's that feature on there below and to the left of the plate-holder?
(It's funny: I didn't notice the Llama in the picture until I was marking it up :) ).
