Someone kindly just posted a picture of a 106 recoilless rifle mounted solo on a single dedicated axle ( I think it was in the "Did What With Your Deuce" thread).
I had never seen that configuration before. No detail about it, beyond the highly appreciated picture.
The trucks look great. [thumbzup]
What's the story on the parade route pavement:
- Are those individually laid bricks?
- And is that some kind of trolley "cable groove" right down the center?
Your roll-on job looks great.
The difference might show-up real close, but otherwise rolling has got to be a lot easier considering all the prep needed for spraying, and then all of the clean-up afterwards as well. From the camera distance, that's a right nice-looking paint job.
That stuff looks pretty effective,
I lasted 5-6 minutes into the video.
It made me cringe to see the guy working in his shop in flip-flops. He seemed to know what he was doing and all, but, you know, that "ain't" too smart.
Are you saying you prefer TriFlow to WD40?
I've always defaulted to BreakFree just because I'm used to it (and because I'm too lazy to keep a variety of products around). I prefer one product that might not be "best", but that seems "good enough" for all purposes. Any comment about that?
I got an idea, Skull Crusher:
- Turn that pontoon into a workshop (adapt and re-use), and keep the original truck-bed for its transportation. Just add a door to it somewhere and figure out the rest.
- And consider building your new quarters in the Great North Country out of conex boxes.
