The intake manifold is water jacketed and therefore regulates the intake air temp. You will need to eliminate that somehow to make an inter-cooler work.

Do you understand the differences in the a2 and a3? Do you have 10k for a toy?

I know other cheaper choices are available but I am concerned about UV, Ozone, and general weather resistance.

Did you ever ask your insurance company about coverage , before buying it? Quite honestly, can you blame them for not wanting to insure a 40 year old truck that some unknown backyard mechanic probably modified(seriously). At least without an inspection and re title from your state DMV...

McMaster Carr does not have 1/4" epdm cord, they have 5/16". The cord in my cover measures 1/4"

Erik's website shows they are out of it. I just received an email back today from GMA and they will sell it for $2.50/ft plus shipping.

I just called the SS guys at the show. It's already hot out, and the show is on!

So, you don't want to repair it? What other kind of truck do you think you will replace it with?
