Someone actually saw the OD in the background . The blond is a 7 year veteran of the Vikings and the other is a rookie ---> she's a college student. In the words of Gimpy.....bow chicka bow bow
Here is a "portion" of the bikes that showed up. The filled 3 different parking lots at the event. We had to park on the grass to allow more ashpalt for the bikes.
Was out doing an event today for the Patriot Guard here in MN. Two of the Minnesota Vikings cheerleaders happened to be at the event as well so I got them to take a few pictures in front of our display. The blond cheerleader's dad served in Viet Nam so we chatted quite abit about his...
All,
There is an event up in Ham Lake, MN this Saturday sponsored by the Patriot Guard. I will be up there with my Deuce, M106A2 Mortar Carrier, and M274A5 Mechanical Mule. Supposed to have a Blackhawk helicopter fly over to start the event and the weather looks to be favorable at this...
Yes you can. The MF engine will still burn anything you put through it that would burn with the FDC bypassed as it would with the FDC hooked up. That being said you may notice a power variance if your blend changes a lot due to the FDC not being there. The FDC basically regulates fuel deliver...
Being bobbed you're pulling less weight than a stock deuce so you should be able to go some. You might try bypassing your FDC before playing with the fuel settings and see what that gets you. If you don't like the results its easy to go back to using the FDC and then you can play with the fuel...
L,
I think the clutch would be the thing to go as I don't think you going to hurt the axles. The transmission or Xfer case might be casualties as well. It all depends on how hard they are used. A few more HP shouldn't hurt the truck as others have done it and I wasn't trying to say anyone...
You beat me to it, was just going to post this pic myself. What a shame, that truck would have looked nice in someone's motor pool (pre-torching that is).
Ok, so say someone does get their multi to put out a gazillion HP (exagerating), all you're going to do is tear something else up down the line if you put a big load behind it and run the engine's full power through the rest of the drivetrain. Yes bumping the multi up a little shouldn't hurt...
Mine was maxed out at 8 PSI before I bypassed the FDC. Had it out over the weekend and running down the interstate it will cruise around 5 - 7 PSI. Only when accelerating HARD does my boost go very high and at that I try to keep it at 12 PSI or below and that is for short periods of time only...
Unfortunately Sgt. Birkenholtz is "tasked" with helping guys get their stuff on top of his actual job in the military. Thats why they changed it to pick up by appointment or on Fridays only as he had people in there all the time getting stuff. GL has no onsite presence, they are out of Illinois...
Nice to see more Deuces in MN, maybe we can have a get together up here sometime. Ok, now who has enough land to have a bunch of OD addicts show up to their house at?
