I recently replaced my MT654CR with a military rebuilt unit purchased from a member on here. The diesel shop also flushed my system and filled with Transynd. Man, it shifts so much better. Smooth!
I have the core in the container, but not sure what to do with it. I called a local truck...
I am wanting to put 16r20 tires on my 1990 M923a2, and I can't seem to find a concrete answer to these questions:
1. I have found (2) 16r20 tires mounted on HEMTT wheels that have HEMTT CTIS on them. I plan to put them on the front. I would like to keep my CTIS on my truck. Will they work...
I purchased a complete winch kit for my M923A2. The kit came with a control head tower for an A1. Does anyone have an A2 tower they would like to sell, or trade for my A1 tower?
I also have an A1 pto shaft that I can modify, but if anyone has an A2 shaft they would like to sell or trade I...
I'm making an ammo box adaptor for my civilian trailer. I haven't taken apart one of these receptacles before, so I'm not sure how to attach the wires to the receptacle. Are they typically soldered to the posts in the picture?
I have a question about what the flow of fuel should look like when attempting to prime the fuel system.
First, I crack open the banjo bolt on the side of the secondary fuel filter while pumping the lift pump button. Then I crack open the 10mm bleeder bolt on the back of the IP pump and repeat...
Hello, I'm posting this for a local volunteer fire department that is having some issues with their brush truck. The truck is an M923A1. The truck starts and runs fine, however the transmission won't shift into any gear. The driveshafts don't move at all. I've read that it could be the shift...
I am adding an adjustable channel to my trailer so I can use an adjustable lunette. When ordering, it seems that a 3 inch lunette is the standard. Is that the proper size for our trucks?
Thanks!
So I won a truck and am awaiting my EUC to clear. I spoke with the site rep and he told me that he cranks the truck, fuel gets to the injection pump, but goes no further. His opinion is that there is a shear pin on the gear that drives the pin that needs replacement. Is this an issue any of...
Well, I have owned several military vehicles in the past, and have been without for the past 8 years or so (very low smiles per gallon in the company car). I've never bid on one, and am excited to get back into the hobby.
I won a truck at Ft. Bliss, and have submitted my EUC. Ugh. Two...
Guys,
I just found a '72 Steyr Puch Haflinger 700...a little rough but looks like it's all there. What would one of these be worth? Not sure what to offer the guy. Also, are parts easy to come by? I have a Mule and a Deuce and think it would be cool to have a Haflinger.
Thanks in adavance,
Had a 24v headlight go out on my M35A2C...replaced it only to have the new one pop as soon as I turned it on...think it's a bad ground or something?
What should I check with the multimeter?
Just thought I'd ask before replacing it again, cause it's expensive experimenting!
Thank y'all...
Hmmmm....my deuce won't start, batteries are good, 24 volts at the starter, when I turn the accessory switch on, I don't hear the fuel pump running and no lights or any dash lights or air alarm.
These switches ever go bad? I haven't pulled it yet to check it. Anything I could be missing...
My Deuce light selector switch isn't working too well...I took the screw out of the back, but don't want to break anything...anyone know how to get the switch apart without destroying anything? I'll probably buy another one anyway, but I love to take things apart and see how they work....
Thanks!
Hey, does anyone know what the hub circle measurement is? I'm looking at some selectro hubs, and they have a 5.563 bolt circle measurement. I have seen 5.080 and 5.563 measurements, but I'm not sure what the correct one is for the Deuce hub. I called Milemarker, and they seemed to think that...
Guys,
Won a deuce on a local city auction...
Went to start it, put in new batteries.
Looks like a new starter, solonoid clicks, but doesn't spin.
Batteries are hooked up correctly, low air buzzer works (scared the heck out of me)
Fuel pump works
What do you think....bad connection? Do I...
Hey, I found some Selectro hubs with the correct bolt pattern, but without the spacer that comes with the Deuce models (I can probably make that...) and they are the 34 spline units.
Does anyone know if MileMarker (I think the owner of Selectro now) sells the spacers and replacement slider...
Mr. Doyle,
I had Barnes and Noble transfer in a copy of the "Standard Catalog of U.S. Military Vehicles, 2nd. Edition."
My plan was to look at the book once they had it in stock and then try to purchase it online for a less expensive price.
When the book store called me, I went down and...
These are actually in a guy's backyard in Lubbock. I'm not interested in any of it, but if you are, pm me and I will give you his phone number...He has a house moving business and these were in his family for a long time.
