Is there any advantage of running a 200 amp genny vs the old school 100 amp? I read something that the 200 amp doesnt go thru the glow plug box? it's a base model bone stock M998. No add ons.

On the steel M101/M105 cover bows. What are these adapters for/do? I circled it in red. They are adjustments for?? Are they a holdover from the days of the M37 series? no mention of them in the M101 or M105 series TM's.
