8V92 Coughs but Won't Start (SOLVED!)

(See post #73 for solution) All of a sudden my M978 HEMTT w/ 8V92 diesel won't start. It cranks over fine and on the first turn it will sort of cough or sputter a little like it wants to go, but then it just goes cold. If I wait a minute and try again, I get the same result - a tiny sign of...

    M978 Shimmy above 45mph

Anyone know how to adjust HEMTT front wheels / steering alignment? I have a side-to-side shimmy when out on the highway and I think it's because the two sets of front wheels aren't aligned very well. When the truck is parked straight you can visibly see the wheels not quite pointed in the same...

    M978 Transmission Breather Vent Leak

Any idea why my M978 HEMTT is leaking transmission fluid from the breather vent on top of the trans while running? I'll be driving the truck, come to a stop, and it will be dripping down the side of the trans, onto the axle, and onto the ground. It's enough that it's a problem (I don't want to...

    M985 No Air Pressure

M985 HEMTT won't build any air pressure. Starts and runs fine, but will not drive as the brakes (and apparently throttle) are air actuated. Air pressure gauge reads zero. Thinking compressor but can't find any spare replacements. But maybe it's not even the problem. Any ideas?

Anyone on here have a M1120 HEMTT LHS? I could really use some close-up pics of the hook lift assembly, specifically the area around the transfer case, if possible. Would be greatly appreciated. Let me know! Pic from Google:

    HEMTT Hook Lift Swap

We've got a M985 HEMTT that we're trying to swap a complete hook lift assembly from a PLS truck on to. We removed the tank and the front mount appears to be very close (certainly close enough) for the hook lift to bolt up to. The rear mount will need modification. But the big problem we're...
