Sorting out new M1028 Starter and vacuum hose questions.
Have a few questions on getting this M1028 on the road again. Here's the quick back story. Picked it up 2 weeks from Sheriffs dept. w 33k miles on it. They owned it since 1996 when they got from military with 13k on it. Tires looked new but had a 2010 date code , so been sitting a while... -

Location of STE-ICE diagnostics module in cab for tachometer hookup
Going to install a VDO tachometer and looking for location of the brown wire from back of alternator where it ends up in the cab. I beleive its called the STE-ICE diagnostics module. Thinking its probably easier to pick it up in the cab rather than running wire directly to alternator. -

fuel filter and lines
Looks like I still have original fuel lines, now weathered and cracked that need to be changed as well as fuel filter. Should I do a spin on conversion now or just replace the stock lines and filter. Thanks ! -
