I do not know the post, but I have done it. I installed a new alternator while cab was off, only to later find i wired the voltage breaker thing wrong. I had to remove the alternator to figure it out. I may have had the front of the cab lifted a few inches at the time, but I am fairly sure I did...
Same problem a few days ago. Jam lever in the up pos then handyman jack did the trick for me. Once up set the things on the lift arms to hold it up.
My part is different than the one above, but does work. The belt that I copied I think I got from EI. Anyway just make sure the belt you get is a...
There are only a few things that it can be, compressor, unloader, alcohol injector, a leak before the tanks or an obstruction anywhere from compressor through all the stuff listed and possibly futher if it is an obstruction.
From what you said I would remove the air line going into the unloader...
Where it holds pressure on the gauges the problem is before the check valves into the tanks. Check the crossover tube from the tanks under the left frame across the truck then through the right frame in front of the back tire. While it could have a leak that would be uncommon vs it tends to plug...
I ended up getting the front cab mount for a 404(I think that is the model). They only have three mounts, one in front and the two on the back.
Took a little fab work to get a spot to mount it. Then went to bolt it and I have no idea how they get room to install the back two of the three bolts...
the 4x lever is behind the cab you can see it if you look down between the frame of the roll bar as i show in the first photo.
I have a lot of stuff removed not sure if you can see it on yours like i showed on the second two photos or not.
That is what i have read and probably will, though it is nice to have options and there are places i could see wanting to go that those parts would be under water for a few minutes

I am starting to see why they do that. If you use the split kind it does not have a spot for the airhose when you turn on the 4x4 and there was another reason that i forget now that ei thought like orginal was better. I do have a help ticket in with them. At this point i do not see it an obvious...
Has anyone replaced the boots on the axle shafts? I have one of the axles loose and I am now stuck. I do not see anyway to get the one piece boot that the military used over the ball on the axle tube and into place. Is this a case where I get some tire changing spoons and force it or is there a...
Look back in this thread there are a whole lot of posts talking about how to figure it out and suggesting some words that may help describe the project in front of you.🤪
Hey at least you have access to a wiring diagram those guys were just using the tm. Good luck and let us know what words you...
