I did see one S404.1 with a tach mounted on the steering column, it wasn't VDO but looked definitely like it was mounted at some point in it's military career. That is the only one I have ever seen.

All S404.1 models have the 2.2l M180. Only the 404.0 series have the larger M130 with dual carbs.

The pictures of the 1500x21 tires (or possibly the 1300x21 Ural type tires) make me want to cry. I have an 813 with mismatched Goodyear tires and trying to get stock tires is like trying to pull teeth they keep trying to sell these old stock tires from the 1980's that are all dry cracked to death.

I am taking orders now, just send $100K deposit and expect to wait - :-P they are definitely pretty slick trucks. Don't expect to see them appearing in anyone's yard anytime soon I don't think.
