Lifting the post since I didnt get any respons on the last input here. Im looking into the changing the alternator for a non-military one and go for a 24/12v converter for the TCM. Any suggestion?

Hi, glad you found the problem. I also have the 85 and 86 code on my hmmwv. It happend after i changed the regulator on top of alternator. I guess it was bad or something. May it have damaged some of my sensors? TISS, TOSS or TPS. Can I measure on it to see if it is good or bad?

Is it possible to tune up the voltage on 3phase a little bit? It says 120v/208v on the swtich. When i turn up the voltage knob to max it give me around 210-215v. I would have hoped to get it up to 230v since that is the voltage we use in Europe

Started up my new MEP-803a yesterday and it ran OK. Noticed the diesel return leaks in the fuel line i marked it the pictures. Is it possible to buy this fuel line new? Or can I put on a transparent fuel line over the steel line with a clamp on?

Ok didnt know that, thank you for the tip. I thought there were only going to be one ground when the batteries are series connected. So do you think my situation with alternator cable giving ground when the vehicle is not running is normal?

Yes I understand that the 14+ tap is to charge only the rear battery to balance it for the transmission and TCM. I tried to change the regulator for a new one i bought Niehoff N3135. When I started it with that regulator it started to come some smoke from the alternator...
