Hi all, I got pretty busy and got my old M52 finished. It drives really well and looks the part. Colin.

I had a look for the numbers on the chassis rail. Is that where the numbers are suppose to be. Also on No26 picture 1, I have a plate sitting on the rear wheels, can anyone shed some light if it belongs to this truck. It came with it but was not fitted so I'm a bit baffled. Regards Colin.

I built a tank using a normal truck diff and differential steering. A diesel engine running a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic motor to drive the tail shaft which gave me forward and reverse. I built this for a paintball park here in Australia and it worked very well and was all second hand parts.

Just to go back a touch. I did take off quite a bit to clean, repair and paint.

Hello everyone, I got my paint back today and It's a great match. My cab is now completed so I now have to do all the bits that go with it and I need a couple of front windows from Dave at Eastern Surplus. Colin.

Now that looks great!! Did you do it all up and is there a thread of it. I want to find a trailer to suit later as I would like to put a M3 Stuart on it as a nice combination. As far as the paint scheme, I took a good sample from under the dash to my paint supplier to get a match for the green...

It is not the prettiest panel you've ever seen but most of it is covered when all fitted and there's no spares down here. That's about where I am to date but I'll take a few more pics after I've finished fitting it today. Colin!

I had to make a bottom type of hammering tool to get the 90 deg bend all along the bottom. I used a piece of 1/2' thick steel and clamped the panel to it then slowly hammered and formed the bottom as close as I could get it.

I am just doing this on my own but I do have some really nice equipment and tools. I would love to have just bought another cab, but i'm sure if you did find one it would be the same or worse than this one. This truck came from Hawaii a few years back and I think is was pretty close to the sea...

The top was a test fit as I had to also make one heater channel. I started this cab last weekend by the way so I've been going at it for a week now.:)

I cut the whole top off as I thought that would have been easier than doing a strip section. I had an old jeep bonnet that I cut down and reshaped.

The pillar top was really bad so that had to be replaced. The other side is still good.
