So the 60 amp equlizer that is on ebay will allow you to draw 12v off of one battery and not burn the batteries up by over charging the one without the 12v draw? This box will charge both batteries independently no matter what the draw. Correct?
That is an awesome set-up pctrans. Did you just cut the frame of the 5 ton off and weld on some plates to bolt the trailer to? Also did you make a custom hydraulic system to power the trailer? I live in Port St Lucie and need to get out to one of the mv shows or parades. I would like to see this...
Could you use some kind of universal joint with an extended drive shaft and hook one of these trailers to the back axle on a 6x6. I am sure anything is possible but I am wondering if anyone has already done this.
I read most of the six pages and wasnt sure if you were using shore power for all of your fridges, freezers and the a/c or if you were running them off of a power inverter that you had installed into the truck. I am wondering because I would like to one day turn the deuce that I am negotiating...
With all of this used motor oil talk is it ok to run synthetic motor oil? I dont have a duce yet but this is a selling point to the wife because all of my other cars use synthetic oil. And like scopionf89 asked how do you filter used oil to be clean enough to run in the truck?
