Did you bleed the injection pump ? the roosa master pump has an air bleeding procedure. Also some early units had a woodruff key in the pump shaft that would shear if the injection pump was stuck or bound up. I had two of my early MEP006 generators do that.

My M38 had a DY88 dynamotor with a GRC9 when I had it. it had a huge mast and the whole setup weighed 120 pounds. I still have the GRC9, but the DY88 is missing from my garage.

Are you sure it's not the coil heating up and cutting out ? My M45 did act up when hot, then I put a new coil in and it ran like a top .

I used 1 inch high nickel steel, so far we have had no issues, but its normally used with the Ford F450 dump truck .
