I was contacted by Fred Shinbur today and he said they want more vehicles if they can get them. You can still register and display your vehicles! Feel free to put Fred down as your contact on the form. His email is Fred.shinbur@mpt.org

I met Fred back in March and started the thread then. I was hoping to get some of the local guys involved, but I'm not sure how many stepped up.
I filled out my registration a few days ago. I told them about both of my vehicles, so I'm anticipating enough room. I'll be at Aberdeen so I'll see...
I'm bringing:
M151 engine parts and a transmission/transfer case.
M151 vinyl top, sides, and door panels.
NOS M151 rear shocks
M151 differentials
M37 windshields
as well as some other assorted items.
This is our second carb with the same problem too. Both "new", from the same place as the OP. I wanted to post the info as another avenue to investigate.
We had a lot of the same issues as I've read here with the 1958 M37. After taking it to an engine machine shop, I think we have it fixed!
The main problem that we had was that the truck would not idle well at all. You could smell the fuel in the exhaust, and the carb was flooding. We adjusted...

The event coordinators are looking for Vietnam...

Here is a an entire batch of photos from the work that we've done on the M37 over the last summer. Sorry I'm doing them all at once, but I'm just getting them together.
Some of the work consisted of:
Replacing the steering box; removing and repairing rust in the front fenders; repairing holes...
One other thing to check is the clip that holds the float down. We had a clip in one of the carbs that wasn't going all the way down and it was allowing the float to move up and hit the bottom of the top plate. We had to adjust the clip to make it hold the float down in the proper place.
We...
Call Vintage Power Wagons and tell them what problems you're having. Yens has been a wealth of knowledge for us while chasing some problems with the M37. (641) 472-4665. And they have lots of parts if you should need them. Don't give up yet!
And +1 on letting us know before you put the...
