This is because M818 is 5 ton, those on here that live in Fl. and own Semi's, or big r/v's will be fimiliar with this....Florida's way of getting more money, supposely for the roads, to offset wath they say is heavier vehicles causing more damage.... I believe it's similar to what NC residents...

It's diffently hard to tell from where I'm at and not there, but it kinda sounds like problem in transfer case/torque converter/flywheel, IMHO... but the smoke you notice as me wondering if it was the crankcase...HHMMMMM...hope all turns out well..:cry:

Well it sounds like Mr. Murphy strikes again, it's not you it's the MV curse. Read just about any recovery thread on the site and you will see that old man Murphy has a way of showing up. Any ways glad you made it home and the truck looks great.....

Yes, under the forum tab, under general forums is one called "conversation" it seems that this would best fit that.... Also your best bet is too see if you can find someone to go to where the vehicle in question is located and get a first hand look at it...
