I converted my 1031 to a pickup bed. fuel fill isn't ideal. i definately take it slow at the pump. imagree with the sweet spot on the angle of the pump, sure makes the differance.

That tool makes it look too easy! Couple years ago I used the OTC glow plug removal tool to some success. One came out cleanly and the other tip broke off. Ended up chancing it and the compression blew it out.

No PTO. Truck had the gas Wisconsin genset/welder. That and the air compressor are in the barn. 1,200 miles on the truck. It rocks!

Took the utility body off and found a decent original bed. Added a steel utility cap and now have benefit of the enclosed body but the option to remove it and have a regular pick up bed.

Bought mine from GL last fall for $1,800. Welder/gas generator, air compressor and bench vice. Just put a pick up bed on it (more usefull for me) so now I trying to get rid of the service body.

A few years back I used the OTC brand removal tool. Worked out just fine on two of the glow plugs, third one broke off. Took a chance and ran the truck and it blew out the stuck piece.

Thanks! Strobe lite was built by Tek-Lite, who I called but said they do not have replacement parts. Diameter is 7", hopefully Truck-Lite will have something.

Does anybody have a source for replacement lenses for the body lights on the M1031? Lights work fine, just need the red rear light and yellow lenses for the rotating light.

Hi, Just picked up an M1031 (to go along with the 1008). Truck runs great after a little tinkering but is missing two door panels on the utility body. Anyone have some leads on replacement doors?
