What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

The reason they rape you is because Progressive is exactly what their name says, Progressive. They are one of the biggest libtard company's on the planet.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

My 1009 decided it didn't want to start properly after normally firing almost immediately. I have diagnosed the problem, and it seems as though the filter element is the culprit. Will be changing that out next weekend as his weekend is pretty much booked solid.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

As for the pooling of water, one thing we used to do is put ply-wood on top of the bows. You will need to use thin sheets for a cargo compartment as the bows aren't as strong as the pillars of a vehicle. Just figured I would put that out there.

let's see your military radio collection....

I have a 349, it talks fine with my 77 and 25, but only on a few channels. That is why I didn't go for more clansman radios.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

I just got done doing a bunch of stuff. I replaced my dimmer switch. Installed a new horn as the truck was missing it when I bought it. Did the Doghead starter relay mod. I replaced the wiper blades. Lastly I installed the bracket for a fire extinguisher.

Pretty sure I need new batteries...

If you have a store like batteries plus you can take them in and have them do a deep cycle charge for you and they will retest once that is done. Beyond that, replace them.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

Cucvnut, the battery has probably not been accepting a new charge for a while; it just took however long for it to get discharged before you noticed it.

    12 volt slave cable port?

It just doesn't make sense to me to hack up a good set of slave cables when adding a civilian slave port and using tow truck style cables. Otherwise I think you will wind up regretting the endeavor in the long run.

    ID this paint scheme please

It could be a civilian agency on post, or possibly EOD. However all the EOD trucks I've ever seen were all red.

    M1010 Receiver Hitch

A buddy of mine hooked up a hitch on his M1010, it is the type that bolts to the frame rails. I thought he posted it here but cannot find it. I know he's able to still use the stairs, but I do think it causes a slight issue with the spare tire. I'll see if I can get him to post up today.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

Used my 1009 to pull my buddies non-op Deuce around his parking lot to allow for a trench to be dug.

    CUCV Smartbook

That's a pretty good idea. I have had a reproduction log book that I keep in my 1009 for a while (has all the correct forms for a military log book, plus my insurance and registration); adding something like that in my pamphlet bag would be very useful.
