I see those pics all the time but never a build thread or who built it.
And that would completely blow the budget.
So any thoughts on fixing the leaks in my top?
I've had this trailer for 6 months or so but it has just been used to haul stuff since I don't have a pickup truck. It pulls great behind my M1009 and I love it's versatility.
When I bought the trailer I also bought the top, several bows, one side board, and a front board. I decided I wanted to...
Well I got to drive the beast and must say I was impressed. Excellent fab work on Ryan's part and it shows in the small details. The phrase "Above and Beyond" comes to mind.
If he is on schedule, he should be making his way across country as I type this. Good luck and have an awesome trip.
Here is a thread I started showing how I fixed mine with links to a few others as well.

I've got a Glowplug card that has all functions except grounding the relay. I currently have a switch that grounds the relay and I just hold the switch till the light goes out and everything is peachy.
I planned to pull the card and trace some circuits but thought I would ask for advice first...
There are several things that can cause air infiltration when parking "nose up".
I covered a few in this thread I started after fixing mine.

And as to your comment about the Uhaul trailer, it didn't fit very well. Had to put a smaller tire on the front and still it barely fit. I think both the trailer and my truck were pushed to their limits with that one.
Letting the paint cure for now and I'm up in the air about camo. I do plan to put markings back on it either way.
Just picked up a M101A2 to drag behind it so I'm gonna have to buy some more paint.
It needs some work but I think I can make one good trailer out of the two that I have.
Things have been going slow with this project lately. I had to turn her into my daily driver after my daughter wrecked her car and I let her drive mine till I got it back on the road.
Didn't have any thing to do yesterday so I shot the rest of my paint on the front of the truck. The pressure...
I actually decided to stick with the stock 3.08 axles after putting smaller tires on it. The acceleration was awful with the 35's but not half bad with the 32's.
It still sits too high for me but my co worker has a 90 K5 and we are swapping front springs soon. His sits an inch lower in the...
Ordered up an antenna for use with my CB. AB-558 base with MS-116, 117, and 118 antenna sections. $67 delivered to my door.
Looks the part and I put an SWR meter on it and without trimming it is reading 2.0 in channel 1 and 1.5 in 40.
I will play with it but for now it won't burn up my radio...
My you have been busy.
I was under the impression that the floor on the pass side of the M1009 already had the proper mount for that seat. I'm pretty sure mine does.
That K5 looks like a gold mine of parts to mod your truck.
