This engine uses an electronic Throttle pedal, so we had to make a bracket to mount it to the firewall. We utilized the original mounting holes so there was no drilling required. Just fabricated a plate that is bolted to the firewall from the inside, and the pedal is mounted to the plate.

Surprisingly enough, there is plenty Of room, with the exception of the drivers side exhaust manifold. There is about an 1/8 inch of clearance. Here are some pics of both manifolds and how it fits.

Engine is in and fits good now. Had to switch exhaust manifold on passenger side because the original truck manifold would not work. I put on a manifold from a 2000 camaro and there is plenty of room.

Go with the wetern. That's what I have on mine. The Meyer pumps can be more problematic to deal with. 2 guys should be able to load that stuff in the back of a truck, as long as one of them isn't carrying a purse!
