Part number correction for *better* fitting belts
These belt part #'s are listed elsewhere on SS but I would discourage using them. Both alternator belts will be on the far/long side of adjustment. IP timing questions
I've been reading around on adjusting pump timing and saw somewhere that the mil-spec 6.2's supposedly run less static advance than the civvy 6.2's. Any truth to that, or just a rumor? There's no witness line stamped across my pump/timing cover which I thought was really strange. Anybody else... -

Wow I can break the speed limit now!
Swapped the 4.56 gears in the rear for 3.73's today just to see if that's the best ratio for how I use the truck. Definite improvement so I'm going to match the front once I find a decent used set of D60 3.73's at the yard. Total cost so far is about $130. $99 for a complete used rear (gears... -

Help narrowing down a 6.2 knock?
