Oil looks good, no milkshake and it's at the proper level.
I'm thinking it's not hydrolocked because it cranks but doesn't start.
I will try the trick on the glow plug ports.
When the truck died it just shut off, no sputtering or anything strange like that. Also wasn't at high RPMs when...
Hello folks,
We're at a loss here. Due to a bad seal and lots of rain here in Florida I unknowingly ended up with a half tank of water, half diesel. Drove down the road till she died, then found 100% water all the way to the injectors. Here's what I've done (there is an electrical fuel pump...
the back of my truck is spotted with unburnt fuel. I'm actually not sure if it's fuel, i always thought it was oil from my tcase leak. now that i think about it though, it goes away after a couple days whereas if it was oil it would probably stick for awhile. I guess I better start looking for...
hey, any of you guys in florida have a regular m1009 rear drive shaft you'd be willing to sell? mine broke
i realize its the same as a civy one probably but just wanted to check here first
m1009 battery zap
i had a similar problem once on the 09, and i found out that the battery terminal connectors were too close to (touching, even) the rubber-coated top-of-battery holder metal tray thing. even though they are coated in rubber, it looked to me like the rubber had worn away and...
hey medlog, would you mind looking up the info for my m1009 with vin 1G8ED18J6FF104683 when you get a second?
It has some stickers on the inside that have audobon speed limits and someone painted over my markings so i'm curious to see what that's about.
Thanks
i'll check out the mvpa, thanks
hey smitty, small world. i haven't been out there in a while but i do remember seeing a yard full of deuces a long time ago. maybe it was one of those af guys sliding down to the store for a bagel or something
Hey fellas,
I saw a nice looking deuce heading southbound on US HWY 27 down here in Sebring, FL sometime last week. Don't see many of them here, just wondering if it was one of the SS gang
RE: Re: RE: duece

there isnt another one is there?
so you just bypassed the resistor and tested the meter without it and that told you the resistor was the weak link? nifty, i'll have to pull mine and give that a shot tonight because that damn meter has been on zero since i had the truck
try cracking all your injectors too, then cranking to get air out of the lines since your ip was dry. it will start and run with the injectors cracked then just go tighten them up when you see bubbles stop coming out
