    New toy

Time to update; bought an exhaust from Midwest and got that put on. Sounds great. Had to change the fuel filter. The one I had was not working very well. I got one of those small glass filters with the replaceable elements. Just picked up a oem gas tank with sending unit and pickup. Can't wait...

    New toy

Had it running for a while today. All the gauges seem to be working. No bubbles in the fuel filter. Runs well. Need to figure out what the exhaust looks like. It is missing.

    Almost finished m38a1

Well, after 2 years maybe 3, my M38a1 is finally close to being finished. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Have the top on but not the side curtains or doors. Now I find out the trans might be cracked. Not good but I think I have found another.

    New toy

Don't know why the bumper looks like that. All I know is that I would not have wanted to be in it when it hit. Had it running within an hour of getting it off the trailer. So far the plans are to pressure wash it down, then decide what color to paint it. Til then, enjoy as is, then restore and...

Nice save. It looks better than mine did when I started working on it. Good to know it went to a good home where it will be taken care of.

    Roll Bar

Yea, that would work. I remember seeing some kind of jeep coat for sale somewhere. I believe it was similar to a leather longcoat. Might want to try that. lol

    Roll Bar

Driving these jeeps is kinda like riding a motorcycle. Always enjoyable, but one eye always watching out for the other guy whose not paying attention.

    Roll Bar

I just pulled one from my 53 m38a1. I believe it to be from a cj5. Was a tight fit but was bolted down the right way. Don't know if it will go back in or not. I'll wait and see how the paint job turns out.
