    Wiring harness install question

You are very correct I knew it would be work but it was worse than expected. Three knots on top of the old crown, two gouges on the spine from the corners of the fuel tank brackets and several busted knuckles I’m done. I’m going to try to crank it tomorrow and if it doesn’t I’m going to tie...

    Wiring harness install question

Thanks a lot Barrman. Yes I seen the fuel shutoff solenoid on the drawing but in the drawing it’s listed as 74R so I didn’t know but yes on of the solenoid connectors is 74A. And I was kind of thinking about jumping them if it doesn’t crank when I’m ready. I guess I could just put an extra...

    Wiring harness install question

I am installing harness 11677081 which is the late model harness on the LDT465 and everything hooked up correctly. The new harness has 2 connectors the old harness did not have. The wires come out around the same spot as the wires for the horn circuit breaker and the dimmer switch wiring on the...

Looking for a deuce, what can you tell me about these?

My air force truck came with a C and it was cool for about 15 minutes. So i told myself "This thing has to go." I can tell you with a C turbo you will definatly be exceeding your noise to movement ratio! The D turbo is very mellow. As far power there wasn't a big difference just bolting it on...

Looking for a deuce, what can you tell me about these?

Oh ok that makes more since now. Just like other guys have said. Read over the TM's. Look for the obvious like what you just stated. Check the brakes over like air pack and hoses and make sure they feel good and realease like they should . Check all the fluids and brake fluid under the door in...

Looking for a deuce, what can you tell me about these?

    - "Clear Texas title in my name in hand." - "I drove this truck 1100 miles on recovery." - "I drove this truck 250 miles on recovery with no problems." - "Clear Texas title in my name in hand." - "I am located south of Houston TX Buy both trucks for $5500. might deliver within reasonable...

Pretty sure this is a classified ad.

Anyone installed dual tanks on their deuce?

I just tied my tanks together with a hydraulic line and two ball valves. No wiring. No selectors. And its really easy 10 minutes and done. Had the tank on for a year or so and it works really well. I just turn the ball valve off when I fill up and then after about 50-75 miles open both of them...

I took some off the Ipad and some off my galaxy phone might be a difference there.

    Late Model USAF M35A2C Registry

Thanks on the comment. My brakes have only locked up one time since ive owned it. I pulled over and pumped them hard a couple times and they released and haven't had a problem sense then. When I got it from GL it had 8k miles on it and now it has 12k. I Think it may have been from sitting. I...

    Late Model USAF M35A2C Registry

87k1541 1041-10141 warranty tag 87-05 wo/w By the way on the last picture on the driver side under the headlight is the original Air Force tag with the vin on it for the truck. Has anyone ever got this tag with their truck when they have purchased from GL? Someone told me that I wasn't...

    Starting trouble

Have someone look at the fuel shutoff rod with the fuel shut off cover off with the engine NOT running. Does the fuel shutoff rod move forward (towards the front of the truck) when the pedal is pressed and move back when the throttle is depressed? The truck will not run with the fuel shutoff rod...

Problems moving the front axle 1" forward?

I don't know about moving the front end 1 inch forward with a perch due to the arch on the spring. I moved mine 1.5 inches forward with the lift brackets. I have mine lifted 6 inches with the front moved 1.5 inches forward and didn't have to lengthen the factory driveshaft at all. It still has...

Anyone add a Track Bar to their lifted Bobber?

I thought we were talking about death wobble not wondering. Do you have power steering? These trucks are set up with 0 degree caster in the front or somewhere there abouts for "relatively easy" steering. There is a caster shim in the front that has roughly 6 degrees of caster in it to set the...

Anyone add a Track Bar to their lifted Bobber?

:ditto: And from what I gathered you do not have shocks on the front? If you don't that would be my first step. I ran without shocks for a very brief time and had trouble with bumps in the road although it didn't "death wobble" the frontend did hop for a second or so and then clear up and...
