Fired her up for the first time in sevral weeks ( off and on HH install ). Adjusted the brakes...they need to be bled now, But good enough to drive. Made a 40 mile round trip to work and back with 0 problems!
managed to take off the spring plate, spring, retainer clips, off of the old HH, and installed on the new HH, found another button. Installing the buttons retaining clip, managed to break one of the ears. Orderd 5 of them from Ambac. Dead in the water till they get here.
Really considering...
long story short, I have replaced the HH due to no start issues.
I still had a now start, but due to fuel not getting to the injectors. Pulled the HH and found pieces of the clip and button.
Now the help I need is confirming what I believe to be correct....
when I pulled the HH the first...
WEELLLLLLLLL... pulled the new HH off, and found pieces of the button and clip. I have gone back through looking at timing....#1 cyl is at TDC on compression stroke (also verified its companion cyl)
The red scored tooth was lined up with the indicator mark in the "window" of the IP. So I...

removed the plug in the top of the HH, the pluger is jumping up and down, just fine. Took 2 injector lines off of the HH and not getting any fuel out. I rechecked the fuel shut off control/valve...it'll only go in one way...and thats the way its installed........................
out of ideas
Ive tried all the tricks I know to free the plug in the top pf the HH. Guess I'm gonna have to put the inpact gun to it.....shane to have to treat new parts in such a manner. I'll try it in the morning...dont think the neighbors want to hear a compressor/impact running at 2am.....
installed a new HH, everything seems to be timed correctly, but not getting any fuel to the injectors. Fuel is getting to the HH. Pulled the frt valve cover off, and verified that #1 was at TDC ( both rocker arms up...girlfriend watched as i manually spun her over.) I cant budge the plug in top...

All new fuel line from the tank to the IP
New HH
I'v pulled the shut off control out, front vavle cvr off to check for #1 TDC on compression and made sure the HH was in time
Now I'm so aggravated with it, if I had a way to get it to the scrap yard...
