    Question about tailgate chain replacement...

The rubber chain covers on my tailgate are rotting off, and I want to replace them. I'm wondering what you all are using... I was thinking of cutting up a bicycle inner tube and using that... problem is, a mountain bike tube is to big around, and looks weird, and a road bike tube is to small...

A question about repairing cracks in HMMWV hood??

My hood has several cracks and/or holes in it, and I'm wondering what is the correct method to do a repair? I was planning on using a fiberglass repair kit, but I wanted to double check to see if this is the right way to do it? Thank you for your help! Paul D

since deer season is in full swing a thought came to me... when completed, my hmmwv will among other things serve as a hunting vehicle... the thought of loading dead and bloody carcasses in the back isn't a problem, I just don't want blood etc going into the passenger compartment. I will be...

I'm repainting the hmmwv 383 green, and want the gauges to look better than what I'm currently working with.... Is there a paint stripper that I could use on the gauges that will not mess...

a question about caulking seams on a hmmwv....

I'm slowly prepping my hmmwv for paint, and I've noticed that several of the seams between body panels are sealed with something that I assume was at one point flexible... it has dried out and is crumbling in places, and I'd like to replace it before painting.... What is this stuff, or what...

How much paint for my hmmwv?

I'm planning on using Gillespie 383 green on my 1987 m1038 4 man soft top.... it is currently off-white. I'll be painting the whole truck, inside and out.... I'm wondering if 3 gallons of green will be sufficient, as I wanted to get a mixed 4 pack of 3 green and 1 black to do everything...
