What did you do to your deuce this week?

ColdWarrior, They are definetly not brake-away, I used 1/4" steel and thick wall 316SS pipe. I did not really think of being oversized, but it looks much worse than the picture shows. I will have to go measure. Thanks for the prospective, I would not of thought about it. Thanks

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Well, It kind of sold, but I added information to the auction late in the game (only 24 hours left in auction), and the buyer did not read my note before he hit the bid buttom, so I am not holding him to the buy. I told every bidder about the bumpsteer but the winner never asked not one...

More Progress More progress: Battery box mount sand blasted, primed and painted, new radiator is in and no leaks after 30 minutes of running. Odd thing is I bought a NOS from a vendor on the site and it is a bit different than my stock. The bottom studs are about 1" closer to the passenger...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Just two bolts, that's it Finally got the rear hubs on, then decied I would tackle the front lower dog bones, but could not get the forward pin out. Didn't have 1 1/8" combination so stopped that job. Sand blasted the sling hold downs, prep'd the bump and painted. I was going to just take...

    Thinking of MRAP super singles

I used a long handle shovel. You can use the fot on the handle for leverage moving up, down and a little left and right. I think I got the technique from Clinto. I am about $4500 in to it on my tire job, but I replaced all the wheel cylinders with new and prep'd, primed and painted most...

+1 on John, and I have all three of his on my Deuce and love them. There are few out there that make some good ones, but either way it is a great upgrade. I keep a spare for each filter in my tool box and a strap wrench and no worries. I can take the oil filters off with little mess, and just...
