New Tires Almost There
Well, Only one more set to go. Should take about half the time now that I have all the tools and I know what I am doing. It is crazy how big these tires are! Break lines from Peashooter are next, then the new fuel tank and spin on primary fuel filter.
No I was not pushing on the brakes as they are disassembled and I just flat out didn't know this. Looks like I took apart a bunch of stuff for nothing. I need to get a computer that does not choke on the TM's. Thanks for helping me out.
So, I am putting some MRAP tires and rims and I bought the adapter plate package from Peashooter which included the inflation kit. Well, I went to test the set-up with my new 25' hose and I connected to the service gland, opened the valve and nothing. Tanks are full and the gauge reads 120...

Still working on the wheels and tire swap. Finished priming last rim, will paint tomorrow. Ordering some break lines from Peashooter tonight, as I am replacing almost everything while I am in there, cylinder was easier than I thought. Hubs studs are reversed and I am getting them...
Bought a jerry can from Level 3 Containers. I got the tan one for water, but did not like the look, so I bought a green one for diesel. Very nice quality and fits the standard holder perfect. Sorry it is sideways?
New wheels and tires
Well, technically, I didn't do anything except drive 320 miles to pick up (6) 395/18R from Faith
Tire, Thanks Jonathan, they are nice and big. I just goes to show you, if your wife says no, whine every day for weeks and she will cave! Peashooter, I will be talking to you...
As far as I can tell, it has always been this way. I did get some improvement when I pulled the filters and put on all new spin on's. I know I have a crappy fuel tank and I have a new one in the garage, just haven't had time. I will try the biologic killer after I change everything. Thanks...
Barefootin, you are correct, I am trying to see what is normal for everyone else. Being a ex-Bubblehead, I have no experience with a Deuce. So what I now know is my pedal should not be on the floor at 2200-2300 rpm, but 2200 rpm is a good rpm to run, thanks KK. I will look in the TM's to see...
Took my M35A2 out for a ride and my top speed on stock 9.00 is about 50 mph and that is on a flat and to the floor. Is that normal? Wonder if I am starving for fuel? Thanks
The ones from over seas do not fit in a standard holder, at least the ones I have ordered. went to Satarn and ordered some of theirs. Not here yet, so I don't know if they fit?
Okay, I could not wait to post the finished product, and I still have to put the expanded metal in the center section and paint. I know it does not follow the purist view, but my lower grill was damaged and I do not intend to ever put a PTO driven wench on her. I also did not like all the extra...
