    M1031 generator engagement video.

I found a master on/off switch hidden under the hood. Also the electrical PTO switch under transfer case was bent and not engaging. All is good now. Thanks.

Just an update, the walker 40405 Y pipe bolted right up and my muffler guy made up the pipe from it to the muffler. So all good now.

    Exhaust center section

I've found the Y pipe, muffler, rear section and tailpipe quite easily but having trouble finding the center section from Y pipe to muffler. Anyone know where to find one? 77 M880.

New M880 owner, what spare electrical parts should I keep in the glove box?

New ignition switch install was easy, new wires are thicker gauge. Working well.

New M880 owner, what spare electrical parts should I keep in the glove box?

Thanks very much for that. Once I'm in there, I need to see why the steering shaft isn't grounding and maybe run a jumper so I can have a working horn.

I think I have the same issue. Would the replacement of the ignition switch help? Is it difficult to change out?

New M880 owner, what spare electrical parts should I keep in the glove box?

Got the reverse lights working but not the horn. No evidence of a horn relay in M880 wiring diagrams but parts store lists one for a 77 W200.

New M880 owner, what spare electrical parts should I keep in the glove box?

Thanks. Yes, I fixed the 16V overcharging issue. It was dropping volts from the harness behind the firewall. I couldn't find the problem so I added a relay so the voltage regulator sees 12.4 volts and now it's charging around 14V. I've read it could be losing volts because of resistance through...

New M880 owner, what spare electrical parts should I keep in the glove box?

Thanks for the info. Been working on a couple of things. Back up/reverse lights don't work. New bulbs, sockets look fine. Neutral safety switch works: only will start in P or N. How to test? Also, horn works but has been by-passed via button on dash. I pulled the cover off the steering wheel...

Not bad. Can never have enough torque in a truck. Is that light blue the color my 318 should be?

New M880 owner, what spare electrical parts should I keep in the glove box?

Most likely. I'll live with it. Works fine. Wonder if it's hard on the factory voltage regulator?

****, that looks great. What are the HP/torque specs for that 360?

Looks simple enough. I'll start looking. Your motor looks great. I that a 4bbl intake manifold I see?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.... But I think a stock 60amp alternator would be better unless they already upgraded the wiring. I'm not sure. 200amps is really overkill. I have zero accessories. If I do go stock, I'll have to find all the proper brackets first. Thames burst it's banks. A...

200amp, definitely not a bolt on. Bracket fabricated. Why so big? No idea.

I wish I was in the UK too. I lived in Oxfordshire for a year, loved it. Miss the old pubs. My BBD carb was rebuilt, the throttle, fast idle and choke linkage all seem to need alignment. Once warm, runs super but a new one would even better.
