I can't get my gauge to go past 1/4 tank with a full tank, but once I run it down it starts working form 1/4 tank to empty? any ideas on that one? could it be the ground also? any ideas?

Well guys finally got my M1009 back together and taking the "Shrek Mobile" down to Georgia. I did all fluid / filter changes, checked all fluid levels, belts, brakes, tires. Any recomendations other then a good prayer :-D before I leave? Trip is around 1000 miles.
I used the floor mat from LMC and it worked out well, just need to have a heat gun around to soften it up a bit to get it to lay flat. I also used the WALMART "do it urself" bed liner for the rear of my 1009 and it worked great, used the spray on for the sidewalls and it also worked great, FYI
Does anyone know what the part numbers or where to get replacemnet oil cooler lines (inlet / outlet) lines? Got a small leak at the crimp and want to replace the lines. NAPA or any other place is fine.
Replaced VIN TAGS....
Is is a common thing to replace both metal VIN Tags on a military vehicle? You did this one for me but after starting to work on the truck I located another VIN DECAL under the hood which I belive is the correct VIN as I can see that both the door plate and the dash plate...
