M998 from Yermo CA to Sierra Vista AZ

Finally got EUC approval on my 998 up in Yermo. Just wondering if anyone knows who offers the best prices around or if someone happens to be making a trip along that route or close and wants to make some extra $. Veritread has a company willing to do it for $729, so it'll have to be less than...

Pickup and temporarily hold a 923 from Fort Hood TX

I recently bought a M923 5 ton from Fort Hood, TX. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I can't make it there to pick it up before they start charging me ridiculous fees. Just need someone local to pick it up and hold it for me, no more than 2 weeks. Please let me know if you can help and how much...

    Medium tow bar pin size?

I've searched and searched and can't seem to find what size the pins in the actual leg are on a standard Medium tow bar. I know about the 3/4" VS 1" feet ends where it hooks onto the truck in tow, but what size pin are in the end of the leg where it accepts the feet? Thanks in advance

5 ton Pintle to 2" hitch conversion?

I have an 88 M923 to go pick up. My plan is to drive there in my car with a little tow dolly in tow, then tow my car back. Obviously the issue is the pintle hitch on the truck VS the 2" ball on the tow dolly. How do y'all suggest adapting the truck to tow the trailer? Are there any standard 2"...

M35a2 Hub Flip Tips and Lessons Learned

I got the first 2 of my hubs flipped on the Deuce today and thought I'd throw together some quick pointers and lessons learned in the process: 1. This is NOT "only a 4 hour job" like I've heard repeatedly. I'm a very competent mechanic with quite an array of tools and it's taking me about 2-2.5...

HORRIBLE Tire Vender -Alphatread Tucson AZ

First, these guys have their own website, Alphatreadtires.com. but they also do business on eBay under the name trlrcy. They're located in Tucson. They started by giving me a fair price on some 80% tread 395 Michelins. Upon arrival, they gave me a decent price on some steel Mrap wheels they had...

    MRAP adapter bolt size?

I'm waiting on my adapter plates to come in for my aluminum MRAP wheels. Does anyone know what's the proper bolt size to bolt in the adapter plates? I've searched threads, but no luck. It'd be nice to order the bolts in bulk somewhere and save some $$$.

Glad hand service air hose length? 25 or 50?

I recently lost my 50' air hose after it blew out of my bed on a trip. Just curious, has anyone been successful using a 25' hose? I've heard "you need a 50' hose" multiple times, but my Louisiana math seems like a 25' should reach everything on the Deuce or am I missing something? It'd be nice...

Singling out stock wheel advice please

I picked up some 395 Michelins so I'm going to single out the Deuce. Question is, do I really need to do a hub flip? I see that if I ran run them without hub flipping, everyone says they'll track inside the front width, but can you only do singles with the stock inner rim setup, with the wheel...

    AZ Registration? Is yours commercial?!!!

New member here. Just bought and drove home a 1969 bone stock M35a2 Deuce from San Jose CA to Sierra Vista AZ. 920 MILES! QUESTION is about how any fellow AZ residents have their Deuce or 5 tons registered? DMV insisted I had to get commercial plates due to the weight! 😠 The previous CA...
