Thank you for the input! It is helpful to get the feedback. I would agree with Suprman. This is not a cheap easy hobby. It is more like an expensive quest.

Any word on those NOS voltage regulators?

I spoke to CE Niehoff this week. They told me they have No means of testing the Voltage Regulators, let alone repairing them. Basicly, they do a Diagnosis of Exclusion, by swapping out for a known "Good" VR unit. Piss poor design if you ask me. Really makes me question this whole LMTV...

Just passing along some helpful information. I have the standard 100 amp CE Niehoff Alternator N1511. I am tracking down a malfunction in the Charging system. Looks like the OEM 100 Amp alternators were N1500 Series. The 200 Amp upgrade kit replaces the N1500 Series with an N1200 Series...
