Replaced one injector (ran out of daylight before I could get to the others). Unfornately, I bent one of the brass fittings so I could not reconnect fuel lines. I'll get back on it later this week to finish it up!
Nice pics and it is good to see these trucks with a life after the military. I am sure yours are Desert Storm Veterans! Farm work is well suited for them. Liked the pics on facebook as well.
Here is a picture and video if my M52A2. When I first got it, it had neither a cab top or windows.

Though road worthy, I still have some work yet to do.

Here are a few pictures of my Pop on our Hough 90C loader. Does anyone know where I can get parts for it?

I bet you do go through a lot of u-joints pulling all that weight :-) I am not sure I would have tried that with my '86 F350. I probably wouldn't have done it with my '94 either. I have gone across the scales with my '01 powerstroke at 29, 500lbs and my '06 powerstroke at 29,400lbs. Both trucks...
Keep us posted on your progress, I am having the same issues

I am experiencing very similiar issues with my M52A2. I ran out of fuel one day. After I filled it back up, I noticed a pinging when at idle. However, the truck still had plenty of power and no smoke was present. I took it...
Thanks for the advice folks (well, most of it anyways). I does turn over without any weird noises. So, I do think the motor is fine. However, the filters are a witch to change in cold weather and I did get air in the system. So, I am going to switch over to the spin on type when I return...
I need some help. I made the mistake of letting my M52 run low on fuel and suck some gunk that was in the tank into the system. After refilling it, I could hear a distinct clapping (metal to metal) sound coming out of the exhaust. There was no loss of power or smoke. It ran like this for...
I do not think that '68 was the last year for the multifueled engines. I will check the VIN on my truck. It is a '69 Kaiser Jeep M52A2 and it has a multifuel engine.
Welcome. I too am located in Northern VA - Falls Church. Maybe we can get together one day and talk trucks. I have a M52A2 that I am restoring and thanks to some folks on this site I have come quite a ways. You will find this site very helpful.
