    WC64 from PI

Just went back and checked. The 50 is the designation for the WC-64KD so you have a 1942 3/4 ton WC-64KD number 890 out of 3500. This is a little peculiar as the WC-64s were all "supposedly" made in late 1944 and early 1945.

    WC64 from PI

That is the body tag and indicates what the body design was from the factory. In your case it means: 42-the year mfg was 1942 50-there is no showing for this number (possibly the WC-64 KD Ambulance) 890-the 890th body of this type built Look closer at that tag to make sure it is a '50'. I am...

    Need help Identifing Yr.of M-37

CJ2A jeep with the 134F head engine (not factory standard for a CJ2A) The winch is aftermarket. Non military as there is no glovebox on the left side. Not a WW2 MB or GPW as no glovebox on the right side and the toolbox under the front passenger seat was a CJ option and the grille is a 7 slot...

    WC from PI

Sam, I have a WC-51 that I restored and can provide any measurement you require. As for the ambulance models, none came factory equipped with a winch (ala WC-52). If your first one has a factory winch then it was never an ambulance model. Phillip

    Wiring questions

Good morning to everyone. I have a couple of questions on the wiring harness. Is the entire harness 16 ga and if not which circuits are different and what guage are they? Excluding the battery cables. Secondly, where can one find individual Douglas components? My restoration (that I hope to...
