I think you need to look at your truck again, tobyS. the large port on the spool valve is the power from pump, I appreciate the link to C&C but he doesn't have a part number listed so I still cant get the ratio from it. It shows the manufacture and series but they have multiple ratios available.
I have the whole winch set up, motor, pump, etc. I'm just missing the pto that mounts on the trans. I need to know the ratio of the pto. they range from 25% to 150% of engine speed. I cant find any info on the pto they used originally, make, model, or any specs. the picture that M35A2 posted is...

If your looking for a tough , cheap, diff cover and dont mind it having a logo on it. there is a company call Solid and they have nice powdercoated cover with hardware for $65 even comes with RTV,. they are very tough several of us run them on our rock crawlers. just google (solid diff covers)
Yes, they are the Red Dot kits. I know they are kind of pricey but they are complete kits? and military spec. . A deuce with A/C how cool would that be?

all you do is hook the positive on one battery to the negative on the other with a short cable, then hook your positive and negative on the truck to the batteries
If it's a 1028 then is has a factory trac lock in the front.
I have bought 3 of the 1028's for the axles and have some friends that have gotten them also.No lockers in the front of any of them. these trucks were from GL and were defiantly 1028's. I think the only ones that for sure have them...
I have bought a new filter # 3511 Napa, and wix #33511 and both filters have the same dimensions but the hole in the center is bigger on these filters. What do I need to do? I've searched for hours with no luck. Thanks.
