Ya' know, . . . it sure is a shame that you have all those mowers and can't cut a single blade of grass. I understand taking off the belly mower decks for off roading. Maybe you could repurpose one or two of the removed decks. Make a pull-behind mower on a drawbar or 3-point. Either power it...
I bought a 5 ton tractor and replaced the 5th wheel with a shortened dropside bed. That was the plan all along, so I wouldn't be tempted to start collecting military trailers. Admittedly, the urge is still there. I am still trying to supress it. Gotta love the 939 series. Full air brakes, power...
It is not a derby at all. 99.9% of damage is self-inflicted out on the trails. There have been some high wind (approaching tornadic) events resulting in bent awnings and pickup truck doors. Don't let the disparaging posts here discourage you from coming.
Safety green is not consistent with any of our trucks. Perhaps some people may go for it, but certainly not everybody. A good option would be doing 2 (or more) different color choices. I am all for the hi-vis colors for work safety. I always carry a class 3 reflective safety vest in my trucks...
A big piece of cardboard works in a pinch when a creeper is not available. My grease guns (one Lincoln electric and one manual) are both pistol grip types. The lever actuated ones are too much of a PITA.
I soak my straps then wash with jet nozzle on a garden hose. Pressure washer spreads out the strands too much. Then drive over them w/1009 to wring out and hang dry.
When the ropes/straps are a muddy mess, secure one end and toss them in the pond. Let 'em soak. Much easier to clean if they are not allowed to dry. That Haspin mud is so easy to clean compared to Durhamtown mud (Ga Rally).
