Yup, it was available to me, and I have always wanted one. I figure that usually, its either just me, or me and the boy in the truck anyway, so it shouldnt matter much.

The new top looks pretty sweet..... I think that it would be ready for a trip to the beach!!! It definitely makes it look different! Did you keep the hard top for emergencies??

Kenny, I have already had this hard top off, and it sealed just fine. Same with my brothers old one that we had off many times :)

Have you had experience with them not sealing? I think it more of a myth than anything.

Looks good! What did it run ya $$$?

Wires to the light bar? Thats easy!

Drill a hole on the backside of the roof. Where the bolt holes are. Run the cable inside the roof and down the column. you pick which side. Put another hole into the column from underneath the vehicle. That'll route your wires on the outside. You can also put a hole from inside the vehicle at the bottom of the column if you want to route your wiring from inside.

Of course use proper rubber grommets with your holes. :D :D :D

See? Wasn't that easy?

Be sure to post back and say how it worked out for you. 8)

It's so easy to give suggestions when it's somebody else's test vehicle! :) :) :)

I came up with the idea thinking about how to run interior lighting for the cap. I might run power as well :D I'll probably cheat though. I'm planning on putting a civvy interior in mine. They have plastic covering the column so I can put an access hole to help run the wiring that will be covered by the plastic. It occurs to me a flat cover for a household 4x4 electrical box might work nicely as well.

For interior lighting in the cap, you will notice that the spots are all there, you just gotta feed the wires.

I did some horsetrading for it, but you can check out www.skylercorp.com for info.

I think I am going to drill a hole through the first panel of hte roof (down from the top) and do it like cop cars and fire trucks do it. I just went to alot of work to avoid doing that before....

Top looks good. Hope you get as many years of enjoyment out of it that I did.

Too bad you are MWK (married with kids) because chicks loved it when I was in college ;)
