Trey, Yes you will need a class B. Having driven many miles in a similar truck with the fire dept, i can tell you the AC is marginal here in houston. Ripping out the insulation will be iffy. The truck i was assigned to you could disengage power to the front axle but not the rears. With the detroit lockers the truck had the tendency to plow straight in a turn. If you let off the throttle and coasted in a curve it wasent nearly as bad.
I didnt mean for that to sound like I was selling it. I have way too much money and hours invested into reconditioning it. Rebuilt axles, new electrical system, new batteries, new seat, new seals on all the running gear, new starter, new main seal, new paint, custom bed, gauges, turned up pump, custom air system for air tools, train horns etc... I dont think I will ever sell it...when you say that your are replacing your deuce does that mean your gettin rid of it?
