I am headed out Thursday morning it looks like. My route is not set yet. It is either out 275/74 or out SR73 to Oxford and out the scenic way.
Rob, we should meet up in oxford and DAN you should convoy with us.
Dan,
If you head out Thursday morning I can join you. Oxford is a bit out of the way but hooking up with sparky and rebelcummins in Brookville would be nice.
Sparky, sounds good to me but I won't be able to leave till Friday morning. The new job I picked up I'm working odd hrs, 3pm-5am Monday throu Friday but I only could manage to get Friday off.
Donnerwetter58, I understand where your coming from on oxford is a bit of a distance but, if for any reasone you can't leave till Friday let me know.
Dan, I still think you should meet up with me on Friday morning unless you can leave Thursday then by all means take advantage of the opportunity.
If anyone els is leaving out for haspin on Friday morning and is close to eaton, Ohio let me know, I would really like to team up with 1 or more to the rally. I really don't wante to travel alone just in case. Let me know if anyone wants to join my convoy.... FYI, I have only been there once.... I forget how to get there... Lol..

I live not far from donnerwetter58 and will be heading out Friday, unless I decide to leave Thursday right after work. The after work thing would put me on the road about 18:00 hrs.
Friday morning has no set time at the moment.

Hey rebelcummins... got some bad news for ya. bring your groin sling with you to haspin (PG-13 remember).... your going to need it to load all 28 tires in the back of your truck... were sleeping in the truck again this fall and at least I got our 3 oldest kids helping me load them... if you were coming on Thursday, we can back the truck together and roll them right in....

So I was thinkin', separated dog bones are pretty common, and field repairs needed. We twist and contort
our old trucks over whoopty whoos and stress them to the max.
Thankfully, someone brings a welder and a bar is welded on to retain the bad bushing.
The hardest part seems to be getting the separated bushing back together.
So my thought is a truck ratcheting load binder to press the separated bushing back into place.
Does anybody have one of those they could bring to the rally? Gungearz? Rebelcummins?
Anyone have any other ideas to press them back on?

I have a high lift Jack. Last time it took a westycucv and my truck to play tug o war on a 5 ton to get it back to together.
Yep, I was there. Gimp used a fire hose twisted to draw it into place, right?
not sure how the high lift would have worked in that case.
Will someone have a welder?
Another thought, is it usually a bushing in a certain location that seperates?
I may install retainers as a preemptive strike.

Stretch I think had come up with some keepers that were 3 inch circles with a half inch hole that you bolted to the bushing after drilling and taping a hole in it.
