Hopefully this won't be like the 7155 shift box deal where you buy a bunch of them and get stuck with them...
Bummer, I actually sold 6, do you havep them to sell Jeep? I might sell one more, after that tell me if you have them to sell, maybe I can help.

No I don't, I was just under the impression that you got a bunch of them at auction that you were having a hard time selling. Hate to see anybody get stuck setting on funds they can't get back.

I Think pretty much all the shifters were pretty much spoken for as soon as he got them. I know mine is real pretty just sitting in the box still. ;-)

I deleted the post where I said I found something 'cheaper'.
When I went to actually buy the parts they could not produce them. :-x

Good, because now I may be onto an even bigger savings and they "may" be several
units available. I am sounding like a broken record now but I will get a
resolve to this and it hopefully will be buy the book so the TM's
remain functional ( to a high'er' degree anyways) .

I finished piping the Air Compressor inlet to the Air Manifold upgrade.

1" x 3" brass Nipple
1" Brass 90
1" x Close brass Nipple
1" Brass 45
1" MNPT x 1" Brass Barbed Adaptor (McMaster #5346K71 )

Be careful not to get any krap into the lines.
(I did not use Teflon Tape, I used a lil dab of dielectric grease on the threads and sparingly at that. )

...and cut a hair more than 1" off the compressor inlet manifold.

Cut a short piece of hose off the hose you removed.

Do not forget to cap the 1" outlet on the 8" turbo plenum pipe.

I just spent a considerable amount of time looking for the silly part number for the silly
little rubber plugs that there are a total of 8 of them, the rubber brake dust plugs.
In the rear, I clearly need 8 of them, but they are not so much as shown in
the parts #TM9-2320-273-24P. Am I crazy?
Are they really not shown in the parts TM?

There are none in the front, although the M915 does have them in the front, that being a #1707c3

Your local truck supply house will have a bin with these.

Yes sir...but everytime I think I have found an error in a TM I have been wrong,
this time I am not so sure.

THAT was a real chore.

My A/C System as of 10 minutes ago is now done less
some strap up I did not want to do till I was 100% sure
all my joints were good, and they are. The air blows HARD
and cold. We pulled it down w/ a vacuum motor for 1.5
hours, the vac motor was smoking and hot towards the end,
my tech said she held solid.

4.75 Pounds of Freon 134A went in. A scale was used.

I do not know what it means but the gent who did my Freon
said numbers like 400 200 . FWIW.

Additionally I removed the OE Transformer-Rectifier / ALT
setup and replaced it w/ the upgraded system I spoke of past
in this thread, so, I believe I now have 60Amps on the 24V
side and 80Amps on the 12V side .

VERY happy Happy HAPPY!

Still working on some pics royal, I have been busy getting my Comercial Class A CDL,
and as of yesterday early AM I got it!

The curriculum is definitely is not for quiters, nor does one
need to be a genius but having sharp but gentle hand to feet to
ears to eyeballs group coordination skills is a must to be able to
float 10 speed gears in a worn out CDL School truck,
and drive at the same time while the instructor is poking
me w/ a sharp hot electrified cattle prod or the DMV examiner.
is writing things feverishly, all of a sudden, as your driving! HA!

I ace'd the Pretrip, COLAS, Inside, Outside and all the Skills inclusive are
Parallel Parking, Offset Parking and Straight Line Backing, and they
make you run a gauntlet that includes EASY to hit curbs and thenb
you do a very sharp U Turn, but-some-how-ever, I got hit HARD
w/ TWENTY THREE errors on the driving, of which SIXTEEN
were failure to look THREE TIMES while turning! ARGGHHH!
It is not that I failed to look, not at all, he wanted me to make
three distinct head turns.

It would have helped tremendously if my teacher had taught
me that. Not his fault though.

I did it all in only 9 paid hours he said. There were
guys at the school who were at 20, 30, 40 and 50+ hours and still were
not confident enough, or still could not handle the machine good
enough to go take the Kali DMV in your face examiner tests.

It was not easy, I was driving thru schools w/ kids and RR tracks and
traffic and double lanes left turns and skinny roads and gangsta's (believe it)
and traffic police and and and! What did I forget?, I was white knuckling it
a few times, caught myself doing that and took a deep breath.

Did you take the test in San Bernardino? It sounds like it with the gangsta reference. What a place, lovely gravel test area and fun on a hot day.

Congrats on passing the test!

NOW that I have my Class A I can wrap up a few little loose
ends I have on my M916 and drive to the CHP office for a
check out, the DMV could not find my FMVSS sticker so they are
making me have the CHP certify the truck prior to a plate being.
issued.

I will enjoy this upcoming drive TREMENDOUSLY. Not only because
I have a Class A, but because I finished the A/C system
and the upgraded ALT REG charging system as well.
My truck is turing into a MONSTER, w/ all new parts
and this and that and and and.

It will be a very cool time. :)

I finished up a lil box I picked up off CL.
First a .25" floor when down that will support
chains and shackles and I extended it on the DS
so I can add a piece of 11.75" Grip Strut so I can
walk easier from the winch catwalk to the bed catwalk.
No welds to the frame. It has 2 U-Bolts that go around
a large frame post that holds the whole shootin' match down
and I welded on some angle underneath so as to stop side to side
movement as well.

As I said prior, I finished the upgraded Alternator system.
These parts are NOT, I repeat ARE NOT available NOS anywhere
on the planet. Ask me how I know this. I looked for MONTHS, trust
me, they can not be found unless you find a wrecked truck or you
spend about $3500.00 and wait weeks and HOPE. Ask me how I know!h
Their is one exception and that is the regulator bracket. I found them for $225.00.+
I took a pic and then put on the inner fender well and bolted it up hopefully
for the last time in my life. I now have PLENTY of power for my A/C and
the truck w/ room to spare at that for add ons. Man things are coming
out so nice if I do say-so-myself, all new and clean and rock solid.

Today was my first official drive in Rebel, w/ the A/C on HIGH
(I had to turn it down a couple of times! Brrr!) and w/ my Brandie new
Class A CDL in my pocket. The first drive to straight to the CHP for a
truck inspection that I wanted, no one told me I had to do it, I just
wanted to do it. Glad I did.
I need to go back for VIN check first of the week.

The CHP LEO was a great guy, he knew his job but GOOD.
He pointed out a valve in the frame was leaking in the
rear and he pointed out one brake canister was out of
spec and another had an issue so I know get to learn how
to adjust brakes, that valve swap should be a no brainer.

The new Upgraded Charging System works like a champ
and the A/C blows HARD and COLD...

Oh, the CHP LEO said I was supposed to have my company
name and a DOT? number on the truck and I reminded him
that I was not a carrier, I do this for fun alone to wit his
reply was "Interesting Scenario, are you going to get Historic plates?"
and my reply was yes, so that should be A-Ok.

I have a feeling he will be calling me to pick my brain, he wants one, HA!

I JUST LOOKED UP THE VALVE HE SAID WAS LEAKING.

It does not help that I hurt my ears scuba diving off the Channel Islands
some 3+ decades ago, (we found a honey hole of scallops at the end
of the day, a private charter of "THE CONCEPTION" boat out
of Santa Barbera I believe it was) so I can't hear real good but that
is why I went to the pros.

I just looked up the valve in question that leaks and it says it is a
QUICK RELEASE AND DOUBLE CHECK VALVE

Anyone reading have a clue? Anyone reading? HA!
