Picked this up last year from GP out of Lansing, Mi. 1997 with 100k on it. Did I mention that I'm still looking for a brush guard? As you can see, after I got the red paint off it says FMS, which I am guessing is foreign military sales.....unless someone knows otherwise. Also note that there are mustaches on the rabbit, the hood, the tailgate and the 4" tail pipe.

FMS sounds an awful lot like OMS, an Army abbreviation for a certain level maintenance shop. The numbering system looks consistent with shop markings.

That's a good looking security forces blazer up there! Was the steering wheel gouged in about 50 places by a pocketknife? That's how you can tell it was sf without the decals. Was once posted in a early 2000s lssv that had that done to it....I wanted to cry.

Well this is a 1996 CUCV II ex Air Force surplussed out of Barstow. Came with ALL the records since it left GM to the time of disposal. Last posting was Nellis AFB.

I had to remove the Blue & Red light covers since it is illegal here to have Blue lights of any kind on the vehicle.

I did it up as a EOD vehicle since I still had so much gear left over for display from my EOD M151A2.

Sadly my son is using as his daily driver since he blew up his M1009.

Still need to get the AC working and have the battery discharge issue that seems to a be prevalent problem.
