Does the M35A3 really make a good FD Brush Truck

Got a little more done on the Deuce. Bed and Tank were painted the same time as the truck, just didn't have any pictures. Put bedliner in the bed and built the platform at the front today. Winch should get mounted in the frame tonight. Bed and tank back on this weekend so I can start running wiring and plumbing. Slowly but surely getting there!

Got the winch in place tonight. We want to test our orbital motor plan before we permanently mount everything and that should happen this weekend as well.

Winch testing went well and our plan should work out just like we were hoping. The air dryer needed rebuilt so we did that today and then mounted the bed and tank back in the chassis. The rest of the afternoon will be spent mocking up my electrical system and switch panel so I can figure out exactly where it will get mounted in the truck.

My department's A3 went on a wildland fire as a brush truck for the first time last week and did great. Our old A2 and our current A3 were originally setup as tankers with two 600 gallon tanks but that was just too much weight especially for the A3.
