Well here's my situation:

You are now chatting with 'Meredith'
Meredith: Welcome to our live chat service! How may I assist you?
Mark Coen: Hi Meredith. I chatted with you last week regarding a pending EUC and you confirmed that my docs were there and they were in the EUC dept. Later in the week I chatted with Heidi and confirmed again that the docs were in the EUC dept. It has never been updated from a pending status and I recieved an email Friday saying I needed to get the docs in. There was nothing saying I needed an update just the docs. I sent it twice over the weekend but I'm still in pending submission. What do I need to do? Customer 77xxxxx event 4090
Meredith: Just a moment while I check on that for you.
Meredith: We do have a note in your account that it was received.
Meredith: Unfortunately, I am unable to get in touch with your EUC specialist at this time.
Meredith: I am going to make another note in your account regarding this conversation and pass the information along to management

So I confirmed twice last week that they had the paperwork. CONFIRMED TWICE. Yet I still get the nasty gram saying I'm going to lose my sale if I don't get the paperwork in. Somebody needs to seriously pull their head out.

I just chatted with meredith, for sale 4090, I sent my Euc in several times last week and heard nothing back, chatting with meredith she couldn't find my paperwork, so I sent it directly to her, and she said she got it and would send it to the euc department, and mark on my account that it was received, hopefully things start moving.

What's the general time from the EUC being submitted to Battle Creek, to GL issuing the invoice for pickup? Should I start making plans now, or is it going to be another month?

I know time frames are wonky (hence this thread) but does this part usually happen quickly, or does it take several weeks?

First I want to thank everyone for such a great message board, while this is not about a vehicle, but is an EUC required purchase, I bought a generator through a government liquidation auction, this was my first EUC auction. The auction ended 3-10-09, EUC submitted 3-10-09, revision required notice recieved on 3-14-09, correction sent later same day, EUC sent to Battle Creek on 3-17, approved on 3-30-09, Pickup scheduled in Texarkana for next Tuesday 04-07-09

So is "DRMS" something after Battle Creek? Heidi on live chat (nice person BTW) made it seem like the EUC goes to GL/BC/then DRMS for FINIAL approval. Anyone have any info? Just bored and still waiting. Besides, I wanted to give Dog Head something to mess with me about later in chat. :)

I am not sure if it works different for vehicles, but with my generator the EUC tab shows:

Submission of EUC Pending 03/10/2009 EUC revisions needed 03/12/2009 EUC sent to Battle Creek 03/17/2009 Approved 03/30/2009 Customer Notified 03/30/2009

There were 2 revisions needed to my EUC , the first on the 12th was a missing "Not applicable", then the 2nd reveiwer noticed my name on the EUC did not EXACTLY MATCH my drivers license (it was missing the III suffix) on the 14th. It took from the 14th to the 17th to be forwarded to Battle Creek after I added the III to my name and faxed again. A total of faxing the EUC 3 times, scanning and emailing my drivers license (must be in color) A letter came in the mail yesterday from DLA Office of Investigation, Battle Creek, MI warning of export restrictions, it was post marked 3-27, so there was a 3 day delay between letter being mailed and the approved date at govliquidation.

I always recommend mailing it in certified US Mail. It is worth the extra 5 dollars or so and you have the magic green card that will hold up in any US Court stating that "yes they did receive it".
Good luck,
Jim
And when you call up to ask what the status is, they will still tell you that they have received nothing. But I have a receipt!", you say. Umm, so what? They don't care anything about doing a good job.

I have a feeling that my EUC has "never been received" because some bozo forgot to put paper in the fax machine.

I don't know about your fax machine, but mine scans and then prints about 2/3 of the fax and then what the status of the fax was. meaning that it was received or was waiting to connect.

I then scan the confirmation page and e-mail that to the rep that is handling my account.

All has worked well, so far.........

My was EUC just sent to Battle Creek. The auction closed on the 12th and my paperwork was sent in on the 13th. I sent it in agian on the 17th after reading on here about the other email address. No status change till this monday "Revisions needed". Revisions sent next day. I always get Meredith on the chat thing. I think those are generic names that every operater uses. There has to be more than 2 ladies: Meredith and Heidi. Meredith is the only one I've ever got but she told Heidi had made a note on my account regarding an earlier inquiry. I think they do that to make it seem more personable. My guess is i'm talking to someone in India. I think other comments on here a correct when they stated it depends on whos desk your euc lands on.

I just made my first GL purchase I emailed everything a week later they asked for revisions and for my DL which was all part of the same doc. Then a week later I was told that when I made my revisions I messed up something else and that they would like a higher res pic of my DL. I did it all again and a week later it went to BC. I guess my rep only works one day a week. Then they are going to make me pick up within two weeks when they take three weeks just to get the EUC to BC.

Last week submitted on Sat., revision Mon, sent to BC Tues. This week sent Sat., lived chat Tue., Wed., Thurs., always say received yet under review. Still EUC pending is on status. Todays live chat, just have so many EUCs to go through, yet is documented that they have it. Have kept copies of all live chats and all e-mails. Plus at times this week e-mails were not delivered. Chatters say because e-mail box full. For 3 days.

KY.. Nuff said
I finally got mine approved a few days ago, they JUST posted t6hat approval last night.. stopped by and checked for the heck of it tonight at work and BAM-O, Christmas morning. Of course its Fri / Sat and cannot pick it up:evil:

All told it took about 60 days (including weekends) for everything from the resubmission to BC to the DRMS. Seemed a HELL of a lot longer. A question was asked about the DRMS, from what I have been told BC is the first stop, DRMS does the actual approval and another sends out information / letters advising you of your responsibilities in resale.

I cannot wait to pick my Deuce up.. she has gotta be lonely because everyone else I believe has picked up theirs from the Frankfort KY lot.

I just learned recently that you NEVER fax them anything after closing time or on weekends. If the fax machine runs out of paper, then your fax goes into the great bit bucket in the sky. So don't assume that because you got an "OK" on your fax machine (or in my case from Free Fax • Free Internet Faxing) that it went through.

Fax your EUC in well before closing time and then check on it no more than 2 business days later. They are SUPPOSED to log them in as soon as they receive them.
