FOUND old picts of really old iron

I took these in a "salvage yard" while picking up a target for some 155mm howitzer direct fire practice. 1983
can any one identify them or the place?

Only if that is the location. It may have been at Graff then moved to the other location. This was my best guess. I never served in Germany but I did hear enough from my fellow soldiers to know what Graff was. I hope to get to Germany one day but my short straw sent me to Korea.

The APCs are US-made M114 APCs. The Sherman looking thing with the boom on top is a M31 Recovery Vehicle, and in fact, based on the Sherman hulls. The tank after that is a M48-series US tank. Then a Dodge Power Wagon military variant of some sort, looks greatly modified. The 5th picture is a French-made AMX-13 light tank.

The dodge looks to be a wc56 command car. very very rare and worth some bucks. I like the other dodge with the fake tank body on it
