if run out of fuel would air get into the system? and Does anybody know the proper procedure to bleed the fuel system on a 1986 m931 tractor w a NHC250 cummins i

yes there is a good chance you got air in the line, add fuel to tank use plunger located on drivers side of motor,there will be a primer valve located towards the rear of the block, above that is a fuel filter ,the fuel filter body there is a 10 mm bleeder bolt ,prime until fuel gets blowen out close valve try to start.
