That's funny how the bud waits a couple of minutes to notify his "co-pilot" of the feline stow-away.

It was kind of like he was computing the situation before deciding to engage a possible female escalation of the episode.

But that co-pilot had grit (or she obviously wouldn't be sitting in an open cockpit like that in the first place). That was pretty good.

I agree, he didn't want to panic the passenger in the cabin seating area, but he was more likely calculating the chances of the stowaway kitty clawing the occupants or maybe even seeking shelter in the back of the tail boom, becoming entangled in the control cables and/or potentially upsetting the CG (center of gravity) by putting his approximately 10 pound mass sooooo far back in the tail as to create an unrecoverable stall condition.
Hence, over the intercom.... "Ladies and gentlemen, your safety is our utmost concern. Please don't panic the guy in the tuxedo."

Carry on. MEOW !

Do you maybe know the story here, mutt_kahuna? What happened?

Looks like FIRE SUPPRESSION FOAM discharge.

Cannot presume whether a test, or an actuated triggering by either heat/flame detectors or PANIC BUTTON being pressed.

Either way, foam is far more effective than water sprinkler systems.

This isn't a low flyer...more like OOPS!
A welder's spark triggered the fire system at Eglin AFB....now check out ANOTHER OOPS...this time at Charleston AFB!
I'm figuring that the foam suppression works like a charm (any fire is completely OUT). but that the chemical composition of the foam likely isn't too good for precision aircraft components.

Do you know if these aircraft are readily serviceable after events like this?

B1-B Lancer flyover at San Angelo's July 3rd Pops Concert & Fireworks @ Concho River

Spotted this LOW FLYER at dusk, just before the fireworks began.... see time tick 00:30 for the appearance...

Yup, that was a B1-B Lancer out of Dyess AFB (Abilene, TX) just 90 miles north of San Angelo.

Happy Independence Day, America ! ! !

Carry on.

just found this thread. Here is a cool guy video one of our guys put together from our last flight in Alaska. Sadly every aircraft you see in the video is now rotting away in the desert on Davis-Mothan AFB
It's a little long, but I gave it a full 4 minutes; pretty cool.
