From pictures alone I dont see anything obvious.. A try to resist saying stick on the valve covers. Some have them and some dont.

OPOIf u can see the engine from behind there is a yellow tachometer in the middle of the valley if it has a bolt on the right its a 6.2 if the bolt is on the left its a 6.5
except that the 6.2 got replaced by the 6.5 detuned decades ago, so any truck that went though rebuild would receive a 6.5 to replace the 6.2, but kept the V-belt system.When you can see the rear side of the engine you can see the difference in the seal. The 6.5 has the seal that's replaceble from the outside. The 6.2 has a 2 part seal that can only be reached when removing the oilpan.
Also the 6.2 normally have the 3 belts and the 6.5 a single serpentine belt.
