M1009 Glow Plugs - 24 or 12 Volt?

I agree, for this purpose I utilize independent timer DTMR1 or any other suitable activated by momentary switch and when all 8 LED are bright you knw for sure that all 8 GP are working.
and if one fail there is no guessing which one. Like I said this just another approach.
