Chassis is sandblasted and primed, and should be getting painted sometime next week. Will be flat-towing the rolling chassis home with a towbar as soon as it's done, and then it'll finally be time to put the new 5-ton MF engine in there, reinstall the transmission, install the new transfer-case, etc. Really looking forward to getting it all back together.

Ooooooh, then you might be disappointed. Not going to be green. Yes, the box is getting sandblasted too. Everything is, or has already been, sandblasted.

Picked-up the chassis today. Flat-towed it home. Had to flip the leafspring pads in order to get the wheels to track straight, but after that it was smooth sailing. Almost time to start re-assembly!

There's not really going to be a 'final' color combo, as it'll probably get wrapped/re-painted once in a while. But to start things off, it's going to be black (chassis & under-carriage) and white (body).

Please replace those front u-bolts. They should never be reused after they have been tighten down and used once. Nevermind the fact it looks like you had to heat them to get them loose. On such a nice complete rebuild it shouldn't be that big a deal to put new ones on.
